David has given 32 years of honorable service in the United States Army Medical Department, culminating as the Commandant of the Army’s Medical Noncommissioned Officer Academy. He has 33 years experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, 26 years at the Paramedic level. He is recognized throughout the Army Medical Department as a leader in medical training and simulation. He has made significant contributions in his field including numerous life-saving rescue missions around the world. He volunteers to lead the historic 10th Combat Support Hospital to Iraq which was responsible for healthcare at five locations from Bagdad south to the Persian Gulf. He is a second-generation graduate of Loveland High School following his mother who graduated in 1960.
