Love of country and a keen desire to impart to Loveland’s youth an understanding of American Democracy have led Dave to two very diverse careers. After graduating from West Point, he spent 21 years serving his country on both foreign and American soil on active duty and in the US Army Reserves. He earned many awards and medals and rose to the rank of Lt. Colonel. As a US Government teacher at Loveland High School, he traveled with seniors to Washington D.C. to instill in them just how precious this country and our freedom is. He leads by example to instill love of country in his students and inspires them to embrace the principles for which our nation was founded.

Civil Military Operations Officer to assist in building the capacity of the Afghan Civil Government
